SCIENCE BOWL REGISTRATION

School pre-registration is open for the MN High School Science Bowl, to be held on January 20, 2024, at Hamline University in St. Paul, and the MN Middle School Science Bowl, to be held February 10, 2024, at Minnetonka Middle School East.

ONLINE TEAM REGISTRATION

Coaches must register their school on the National Science Bowl website. Pre-registration is now open to guarantee a spot for your school; specific player info not needed at this time. Final registration deadlines, including player info and authorization forms: High School by 12/15/23 | Middle School by 1/15/24.

Coaches:

Pre-register your school. (See the 2024 NSB Coach Registration Guide and/or watch the registration video from the Oct. 10 Coach Clinic; you can still sign up for the other Coach Clinics.) After your school is approved, you will receive instructions on how to enter student details and send consent/media release forms to parents/delegates for electronic signature. You will also use your online NSB account to complete your own registration form.

Submit student information and media release forms for at least Team 1 by December 1 to guarantee your school a spot. If your school wants to enter a Team 2 and/or Team 3, you can enter that information too, although Team 2/Team 3 will not be approved until after MAS knows how many different schools have registered (Dec. 15 for high school, Jan. 15 for middle school). It is likely that there will be room for all teams, but if necessary, second and third teams will be selected via a lottery system.

The registration fee of $150 per High School team / $125 per Middle School team can be paid by:

Refund / Cancellation Policy

Refunds or cancellations must be requested by email to the Operations Manager Jen Hadley two weeks prior to the event. Refunds will not be given after that date unless there are extenuating circumstances. Requests based on extenuating circumstances must be made by email to Program Manager Kris Fowler at kfowler@mnmas.org before the program start date. No refunds will be given for late fees.
