You’re invited to participate in a few totally optional activities (the decision to take part in these extra activities will have no impact on how your project or presentation is judged and is completely voluntary).

STEM Poetry
Each participant may submit up to three poems focusing on science, technology, engineering or math. Need inspiration? Check out the 2022 and 2021 STEM poetry contest entries. You can summarize your project, focus on a favorite branch of STEM, or pen an ode to your favorite scientist. Poems can be written in absolutely any style, but should be 200 words or less. Poems may be reprinted by the Minnesota Academy of Science on our website, newsletter, social media channels or other future publications using your first name and last initial and hometown.
Project Showcase Scavenger Hunt
In this scavenger hunt, you will explore your colleagues' projects. Enter by filling out the Project Scavenger Hunt form. You can access the showcase here:
