Registration Fee Scholarships

The scholarship fund for students with financial need is made possible by generous grants from organizations, companies and private donations.

Rules And Eligibility

Scholarships are available to cover the full registration fee for students with financial need. Financial need is determined based on national guidelines for qualification in school lunch programs.

Due to limited funding, only 1 scholarship for the Science Fair will be awarded per region and no scholarships are available for JSHS. A limited number of $40 partial scholarships are available. The application process is the same as the full scholarship.

Application Process

Scholarship applications must contain a parent signature and date and be scanned, properly labeled, and emailed to contact@mnmas.org or faxed to 651-917-3978. The email subject line and document should both be labeled: 2017, Your Name, Scholarship Application.

The deadline for submitting scholarship applications is 5 days after the Regional Science Fair where a student qualifies for the State Science Fair.

Students applying for a scholarship need to pay the FULL REGISTRATION FEE at the time of registration which will then be refunded in full or in part if a scholarship is awarded.
