Science Bowl

St. Paul Central Senior High School - Team 1
The High School competition was held on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Macalester College.
Hundreds of students representing dozens of middle schools and high schools from all over the state of Minnesota test their knowledge of all major areas of science and mathematics at the Minnesota State Regional Science Bowl for Middle School Students and the Minnesota State Regional Science Bowl for High School Students. Students compete in five-person teams solving technical problems and answering questions in all branches of science and math. The two tournaments are conducted in a fast-paced question and answer format. Teams go head-to-head to buzz in and answer questions just like the TV show Jeopardy. The winning team from each of the events will qualify to compete in the U.S. Department of Energy National Science Bowl in Washington, D.C. Each team member and coach will receive an all-expense paid trip to the event.
