Regional Science Bowl for Middle School Students

The Minnesota Regional Science Bowl for Middle School students included 22 schools and 125 students. Teams spent months preparing for questions in Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Space Science, Energy, Mathematics and Physics. The winning team represents Minnesota in the Department of Energy's National Science Bowl, April 28 - May 2, 2016, in Washington, D.C. 

The Minnesota State Regional Science Bowl for Middle School Students is a program of the Minnesota Academy of Science. The Minnesota Academy of Science supports Minnesota scientists at every stage of their development, providing a vital forum for scientific inquiry and discussion that reaches thousands of Minnesotans annually. The program was sponsored by generous contributions from Ecolab, 3M, General Mills, Hardenbergh Foundation, Great River Energy, Pentair, Tennant Foundation, UTC Aerospace Systems, and University of St. Thomas-School of Engineering.
